Employee Spotlight: Bennie Wester

SitePro's September Employee Spotlight features automation superintendent, Bennie Wester!

SitePro has some pretty amazing employees, which is why we've decided to feature a talented individual every month in our new SitePro Studios: Employee Spotlight series. This monthly series will aim to highlight an employee who has gone above and beyond for the company and our customers. Without further ado, let's introduce September's Employee Spotlight: Bennie Wester.

Bennie joined the team in Oct. 2017 as an Automation Superintendent. He earned his associates degree in Applied Science/Wind Energy from Texas State Tech in 2017. Bennie currently lives in Big Spring with his wife and daughter.

During his interview, Bennie recalled a situation he was called to out of state to visit a site. The facilities had been offline for about a month and the customers were ready to kick back on. Bennie said while he was there, they wanted to turn some pumps on to check pressures and flow rates.

Once everything was on, some of the pressure crept up to dangerously high levels. Bennie said when the customer noticed how high the levels were getting, he began to panic and tried to hop in his car to drive back to the facility and manually turn everything off.

But Bennie utilized SitePro's Mobile App and was able to turn everything off with a couple of clicks before the customer even reached his vehicle.

"He was amazed at what we were able to do and how quick the response was...he was extremely thankful and naturally, he didn't even think about using automation. It's amazing what you can do with technology now," Bennie said.

This particular customer's site is in Pennsylvania and Bennie does an excellent job communicating with them and making sure everything is working despite the distance.

Thank you, Bennie, for all of your hard work and for going and above and beyond for SitePro and our customers!
